Reading that article, I recall a 60 Minutes segment (2010? 2012?) on which Lesley Stahl (or Steve Kroft?) went to Iceland to interview political leaders – predominantly women – about the 2008 financial crisis. Iceland recovered more quickly from that recession than most other developed countries clearly due to policies and decisions enacted by its women leaders. And, the Icelandic male peers of those who committed similar transgressions in other countries went to jail, whereas ours and those of other western countries did not.
